Welcome to the Association of Logos Bookstores!
The Association of Logos Bookstores is a non-profit, member-owned, trade association comprised of 18 independent Christian bookstore members located in the U.S., Canada and the Bahamas.

While maintaining their individuality, the store owners and managers work together as a group to determine the kinds of goods and services that the Association should provide for their benefit.

Some of these projects include an annual educational conference, consumer catalogs and flyers, in-store and phone consulting. websites, and store supplies... services that would be too expensive and too time-consuming for any one store to do on its own.

While all stores in the Association carry a core of products that are common to all, each store has its own personality and vision, tailoring its inventory to the needs of its customers and relevance to its local community.

Submission to God...Community with others...Independence in business

These are ideals embraced by the members of the Association of Logos Bookstores

Partnering with Logos just might help you get the support you want, while maintaining your independence.

Look Great Without Breaking the Bank

  • Two magazine-quality catalogs a year that will bring customers into your store throughout the season. It's so simple. Just submit your list, and we'll do the rest. You choose your quantities, and the first 3,000 are free each time.
  • E-newsletter ideas that will get customers into your store between the catalogs.
  • High quality store bags in your choice of three materials: paper, plastic and reusable non-woven fabric.
  • Christmas CD, a collectible selection of classic instrumental music that will remind your customers of you all season long. Use it as a premium to thank your customers or sell it with your music section.
  • A classy-looking Calendar with through the Bible in a year daily reading guide, as well as coupons to bring your customer into your store at least once a month for the next year.

Grow Your Business with Training and Support ... That Doesn't Cost Extra
  • Free attendance at the Logos Annual Conference, an encouraging and informative gathering for managers held prior to the International Christian Retail Show ICRS.
  • Face-to-face store visits by our Association staff, who offer assessments, tips, support and encouragement.
  • Access to our staff training library. Resources are available on loan to get your team on the same page as you.
  • Weekly emails with information to keep you in the loop with other managers and with Christian retail in general.

Maintain your independence while having the wisdom and experience of others easily accessible to you.

  • Choose your own inventory at quantities that make sense for you.
  • Allow your store to reflect your personality and that of your community.
  • Pay only for services that you actually use.
  • Know that your customer lists are always kept secure.
  • Remember that we will never jeopardize the health of your business, because we're member-owned, and we all want to stick around to be part of the future!

And ... because we're a non-profit, we can offer all these benefits to you, no matter how large or small your store, at surprisingly affordable rates!

Please contact us by phone or email.

We would love to have you tell us about your store and have you join a group of like-minded independents, one who cares deeply about ministry, as well as business. I look forward to hearing from you.

Vendor Information

Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in Logos Bookstores!

A little background on the member stores:

All members are independently owned and managed. They are not franchises. Therefore, the Association does not purchase product for the individual stores. We do, however, recommend products and appreciate your sending samples to the Association office after having contacted us.

Since the stores are independents, managers and buyers choose the inventory, keeping in mind their unique customer base and demographics, while stocking the best in Christian product.

Member stores are located in the U.S., Canada and the Bahamas ... in urban settings, near college campuses, in small and medium-sized towns and on islands!

Logos Bookstores are always interested in being informed of new products, new programs and special pricing opportunities.

You are invited to contact the Association office or the stores directly.

Here are several ways store managers and buyers can become familiar with you:

  • Spring and Christmas catalogs and Spring Liturgical flyer
Each year, publishers and suppliers take part in these consumer publications.
Titles and products are nominated by suppliers to the Association office for consideration by the Selection Committee, which is composed of store managers and buyers.
Please contact us for information on nominating your titles and products.
  • Logos Annual Conference
We arrive early and hold our annual conference prior to the ICRS convention. Vendors are invited to participate by choosing any or all of the following opportunities: sponsor a meal, bring an author, make a presentation, send review copies of new titles. Please contact us in the spring for information on the summer conference
  • Weekly Newsletter to Stores
Please email information to us for the weekly email. Managers are most interested in special offers on pricing, product closeouts, and marketing ideas and opportunities.

Again, thank you for your interest in working with the Logos Association and the member stores for our mutual benefit.

Women of Logos with author Rhonda Rich at LAC.
